Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is a naturally occurring cannabinoid in cannabis plants. It is chemically similar to Delta-9 THC but has a slightly different molecular structure, resulting in milder psychoactive effects. Delta-8 binds to CB1 receptors in the endocannabinoid system, producing relaxation and reduced nausea with lower potency compared to Delta-9.
